Short, because there is not much of it. We use the contact form to answer you, and for nothing else.
CD-Invest nv, Schaarbeekstraat 20E bus 1, 9120 Melsele, Belgium. VAT BE0448859877. We also have an office at Martinez Villergas Business Park, Block V, 1st floor, 28027 Madrid, Spain. For anything on this page, write to info@cdinvest.eu.
We are the controller for the personal data described here.
If you use the form on our contact page, we receive what you type into it: your name, your company, your email address, your phone number if you give one, what the message is about, whether you run IBM i, and the message itself. We use it for one thing — to answer you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in replying to someone who contacts us, and, once we start talking about work, the steps leading up to a contract.
Your message arrives as an email at info@cdinvest.eu and is also stored on our own server in Belgium. We do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not add you to a mailing list.
If you email us directly, we keep that email the way any company keeps its correspondence.
This site runs on our own server. Like any web server, it can record standard request data — IP address, the page requested, the time — for security and troubleshooting. We do not use that data to profile visitors.
The people at CD-Invest who can answer your question. Beyond that, only the suppliers that make our own mail and hosting work, and only as far as they must. This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address when a page is opened; see the cookie page.
A message sent through the contact form is kept for three months, and then deleted. That is long enough to answer you and to pick the conversation back up if you come back to it. If it turns into actual work, the correspondence becomes part of that project file and is kept the way we keep our other business records.
If you would rather we deleted your message before the three months are up, ask us and we will.
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to limit what we do with it, object to us using it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@cdinvest.eu and we will answer within one month.
If you think we handled your data badly, you can complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority, Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, contact@apd-gba.be.
